When Elin Oresten became a parent, she grew curious about how children could get a safe and joyful start to their food journey. When she began sharing her experiences with finger foods for babies on social media, the response was far greater than expected. More and more parents discovered the account, asked questions, and shared their own experiences. The engagement quickly grew into something bigger, focusing on supporting children’s development and on building a positive, curious relationship with food from the very beginning.

Today, Knatteplock is an established brand with both an e-commerce business and a presence in Swedish grocery retail. Their books and educational materials are recommended by child health clinics and midwives, while the company continues to expand across the Nordics.

The Challenge

As Knatteplock’s growth accelerated, Sebastian Oresten, co-founder and Head of Business Development, took a close look at how the payment solution affected the business. As volumes increased and the business expanded into new markets, demand grew across several areas, including financial controls, accounting, conversion, and fast, responsive support.

In connection with the Norwegian launch, Qliro became a natural choice.
